Meet Our Pastor -

What a joy it is to serve the people of Kantner United Methodist Church! My journey has been long and winding. I was born in the suburbs of Philadelphia, but fell in love with western Pennsylvania when I began my undergraduate studies in accounting at IUP in 1985. From the moment I arrived in western PA, I knew I’d never go back. I began my professional life as an accountant, and spent 12 years in the business world before being called into full-time ministry. I am in my 24th year as a pastor, having served all over our Conference.
I have two grown children and two grand-kids. From the moment I arrived at Kantner UMC I was blessed by a loving and dedicated church family. Stoystown became my home very quickly. I look forward to serving the people of Kantner UMC for many years to come. In His Service, Pastor Rich |
