Next week, November 24, 2013, we will begin a break from our study of The Story to celebrate Advent and Christmas. We will resume our study on December 29th with Chapter 12, The Trials of a King. This break might be a good chance to “catch-up” if you have not had the opportunity to keep current with your reading. Also, it is not too late for you to begin. Just get yourself a book and begin reading chapter 12. Books are still available in Heritage Hall.

As parents, the Christian education of our children is one of our most important tasks. Your elementary age children can receive Christian instruction in the context of fun and friendship by coming to Kids 4 Jesus, a midweek children’s fun and learning group. Held every Wednesday at 7:00 pm., all kids age 3 through 5th grades are invited to attend. Contact Jodell Zimmerman (814-893-5493) if you have any questions. A dinner will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 4:30 to 7:00 pm at the Coal Miner’s Café in Jennerstown to benefit the Next Step Center in Somerset.
